The scheme originally received planning approval in 2008 and involved the refurbishment of the existing building on site to create 12 Flats and the construction of a 5 storey apartment scheme for 20 units on the vacant plot next door.

The new buildings design is loosely based on the Art Deco style and reflects nearby buildings such as Crosby Plaza Cinema with its stepped front facade and curved balcony features.

The new building is serviced by a central stair and lift and has 4 apartments per floor totalling 20 units. The front apartments to the scheme benefit from south facing balconies and those on the upper floors enjoy distant views over to Wales.
